Information on the status of a residence permit application
Inquiries about the status of a residence permit application can be made at the electronic headquarters of public administrations at the following link:

In the form you will have to enter the requested data such as the NIE number or application/file number (if you do not have a NIE), date of submission of the application and year of birth.
Once the data has been entered, a screen will appear with the file data and the status (in processing, in requirement, etc.).
Telematic consultation of Spanish nationality applications by residence
Likewise, you can consult the status of your Spanish nationality application by residence electronically.
To do this, you will have to access the electronic site of the Ministry of Justice, you can access it in the following link:

In this case, you will have to enter the data of the NIE number, the registration number of the nationality file (They begin with R-….) and the year of registration, as well as the date of birth.
In any case, it is important to keep in mind that the information that appears in these applications is merely informative and must comply with the official notifications that are made during the processing of the file.
