On January 3, Organic Law 1/2025, of January 2, on measures regarding the efficiency of the Public Justice Service, was published in the BOE. It contains a provision that modifies Law 14/2013, of September 27, on support for entrepreneurs and their internationalization.
Specifically, the Twenty-first Final Provision modifies arts. 63, 64, 65, 66 and 67 of Law 14/2013, of September 27, on support for entrepreneurs and their internationalization, leaving them without content and therefore eliminating the possibility of obtaining visas or residence permits for investors.
Therefore, as of April 3, 2025, when Organic Law 14/2013 will come into force, the Golden Visas will end on April 3, 2025. 1/2025, non-resident foreigners who intend to enter Spanish territory in order to make a significant capital investment will no longer be able to apply for a residence or stay visa for investors.
Until April 2 of this year, applications for a residence visa for investors will be accepted.
