{"id":4420,"date":"2024-05-29T13:27:38","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T11:27:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tradelex.com\/?p=4420"},"modified":"2024-06-04T13:02:41","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T11:02:41","slug":"on-june-11-regulation-eu-2024-1347-on-international-protection-will-enter-into-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tradelex.com\/en\/2024\/05\/29\/on-june-11-regulation-eu-2024-1347-on-international-protection-will-enter-into-force\/","title":{"rendered":"On June 11, Regulation (EU) 2024\/1347 on international protection will enter into force"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 22, <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/HTML\/?uri=OJ:L_202401347\">Regulation (EU) 2024\/1347 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 14, 2024<\/a> on standards for the qualification of third-country nationals or stateless persons as beneficiaries of international protection, for a uniform status for refugees or for persons eligible for subsidiary protection and for the content of the protection granted, amending Council Directive 2003\/109\/EC and repealing Directive 2011\/95\/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council was published in the DOUEL which will come into force on June 11.<\/p>\n<p>Regulation establishes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>rules regarding the requirements for the recognition of third-country nationals or stateless persons as beneficiaries of international protection;<\/li>\n<li>a uniform status for refugees or for persons eligible for subsidiary protection and<\/li>\n<li>regulates the content of the international protection granted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the Regulation, a series of substantial modifications have been introduced in Directive 2011\/95\/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, repealing said Directive and replacing it with a Regulation with the idea of \u200b\u200bguaranteeing harmonization and greater convergence in decisions regarding asylum and regarding the content of international protection.<\/p>\n<p>The Regulation does not apply to national humanitarian statuses granted by Member States to third-country nationals and stateless persons who do not fall within the scope of the Regulation.
